Welcome to my personal website... I'm so glad you found me.

Me

Professionally, I come from a non-technical background. I majored in Finance and Economics, then worked in the financial sector for over ten years. Now I've pivoted into cybersecurity, with a strong interest in OSINT, CTI and forensics.

Personally, I enjoy a number of hobbies and activities, including birdwatching, growing things, landscape design, plant propagation and other stuff. I also hunt for and collect glass bottles and other relics.

About this site

I'm writing about cybersecurity topics for reinforcement and personal reference. Wanting a space of my own creation ultimately resulted in this site. Now it's here and I can share my journey into cybersecurity and write about things that interest me.

Note that I am not a developer or a designer. This site is a hobby and imperfect in how it looks, works, and feels, but it's good enough to start writing. It's time for me to accept 'good enough'.

In general, my plans include:

  • Content related to cybersecurity topics, projects and activities.
  • Other posts on a variety of things, including a 'Today I Learned' or 'TIL' section
  • Short-form notes, thoughts and ideas.
  • Quizzes, Questions and Tips

You may sometimes find:

  • Evolving designs and "features" that seem out of place and don't fit 'standards'.
  • Throwbacks as I reminisce over the old web, where personal websites were common.

DISCLAIMER!!! This site is home-grown, built on trial and error, curiosity, frustration, inspiration and a desire to create something of my own. There are no "best practices" or optimizations just yet. I have a lot of ideas, and will continue make adjustments as I go. This is my space to share with probably no one, and to have fun, experiment and play, so glitches, incomplete content and odd features might show up occassionally.
